5. Rescheduled
– Graduate Seminar I and Graduate Seminar II Rescheduled 1
credit courses – hybrid
(live meeting and web based instruction)
Navigating the paperwork requirements for a graduate
degree can seem a daunting task. Add to that the challenges of
research projects and a thesis or dissertation. Help is available
in the form of two, 1 credit seminars that will be offered for
Spring 2008. These courses are designed to ease the transition
to graduate work by giving students an understanding of what a
study plan is, how to form a committee, how to access the library
as well as discussion about more mundane topics such as where
to get your parking permit and how to set up VandalMail and VandalWeb.
The online components of the course allow flexibility in study
time and choice of topics such as identifying research possibilities
and interests, and assessing and developing personal and academic
strengths. Lunch will be provided for the live class meeting.
Seminar I INTR 501-01 (291850)
Seminar II INTR 501-02 (291860)
