Steven Clinton Minkin, affiliate faculty member in geology died in late February 2004. Steve is fondly remembered by University of Idaho students for his engaging field regional field trips to geological sites. His ability to bring seemingly inanimate objects to life and make them relevant continues to touch his students’ lives today.

Todd F. Lewis, affiliate faculty member in the Professional Technical Technology Education department lost his life in an automobile accident in the Fall of 2003. Todd began teaching for the University of Idaho in 1992 in the area of industrial safety with classes such as Industrial Noise Control and Operational Safety. His talents as an instructor and his expertise in the field were well respected by his students and his peers.
